Our team brings decades of combined experience from some of the world’s leading organizations
Mr. Hirst joined EPIC as the CEO in 2021 following a 14-year career with Nalco in the specialty chemical sector focused on oil and gas, and water treatment solutions. While at Nalco, Mr. Hirst held roles of Account Manager, Area Manager, District Manager and Regional Technical Manager throughout the Rocky Mountain Region based out of Denver, CO. Mr. Hirst earned a BS from Dickinson State University and AS from Bismarck State College where he played basketball for the Mystics and now serves on the BSC Foundation Board of Trustees.
Prior to joining Epic, Mr. Crandall spent 33 years with Schlumberger Technology Corporation in numerous management and operational roles. During his tenure at Schlumberger, he spent 13 years internationally in various locations including the Middle East, West Africa, the Caspian Sea countries and the Russian Federation. His responsibilities included large area asset and maintenance management. Following his retirement from Schlumberger, he initiated a ‘Best in Class’ maintenance program during his 4.5 years with RockPile Energy Services. Mr. Crandall graduated from the North Dakota State College of Science.
Mr. Dacar serves on the Board of Directors. Prior to EPIC, Mr. Dacar served as the Chief Commercial Officer of Keane Group (NYSE: FRAC) and founder and CEO of RockPile Energy Services, a leading provider of technologically advanced completions services to the oil and gas industries. Previously, Mr. Dacar spent 32 years with Schlumberger Technology Corporation in numerous executive management and operational roles. Mr. Dacar earned a BS from Regis University and a MS from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland. Mr. Dacar is on the Board of Directors at Conquest Completions.
Mr. Evans serves on the Board of Directors. Prior to co-founding EPIC, Mr. Evans was co-founder, President, and CFO of RockPile Energy Services, a leading provider of technologically advanced completions services to the oil and gas industries. Previously, Mr. Evans was an investment professional at Harren Equity Partners and has prior experience at Wachovia Securities and General Electric. Mr. Evans earned a BS and MS from Wake Forest University and MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Evans serves on the Board of Trustees for Ace Scholarships.
